Blue Ridge Heritage Days Street Festival

Call for Vendors: Blue Ridge Heritage Days in Blowing Rock is currently seeking vendors for a Main Street Festival, Saturday, September 18, 2010. This festival is being developed in celebration of the Blue Ridge Parkway’s 75th Anniversary. We are particularly interested in crafts and other products, including foods, which reflect the history and heritage of the Blue Ridge Mountains or which are produced locally. Space is limited and vendors must apply and submit photos and detailed description of their product or art. For more information, please call the Blowing Rock Chamber at 828-295-7851.
Please note that food vendors who sell food which is intended to be consumed at the festival (such as funnel cakes, sandwiches, drinks and other foods) will be considered seperately. THESE FORMS ARE NOT INTENDED FOR THOSE VENDORS. Please call the Blowing Rock Chamber for more information, 828-295-7851. The application for Food Service Vendors will appear at a later date.
Requirements
Fees: Application Fee $10 , nonrefundable. Application will not be processed without the fee. If you are accepted to the festival, you will be asked to pay the booth fee. Booth Fee: $150, for a 10x10 Space on Main Street. Heritage and Traditional Craft Vendors may be invited to demonstrate if appropriate. Vendor spaces are 10x10. Additional space will be provided if you are asked to demonstrate. Power is optional, with an added fee of $25. Vendors must provide their own tent.

Photos: You must also submit two photos of your work or product, thisrequirement includes food. One photo may be of your booth display. You may send photos with your application or submit them via e-mail to info@blowingrock.com.

Information on the billing form is secure and will not be shared in any way. Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce will not share your email address or contact information in the form of mailing lists.
