Although the symphony concert begins at 7:30, the gates to Chetola Resort will open at 5:30 to allow the fun to begin.  The Harris Brothers kick it off with the opening concert to entertain you while you are selecting your spot on the lawn and picnicking.

Parking is available in the lots at Food Lion and at Tanger Shoppes on the Parkway with entry to the back of Chetola Resort grounds. Parking is not permitted inside Chetola Resort for this event. Handicapped attendees are encouraged to park at Food Lion since the air conditioned shuttle will drop you off at the lawn in front of the concert.  How convenient!!! 

Everyone who has purchased tickets on Ticket Web or is on the Will Call list must enter Chetola through the Tanger gate in order to receive their tickets.  This is the only location the will call list will be available. 

The tents that are set up around the perimeter of the lawn are reserved areas, but the rest of the area around the lake is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket if you like. Please do not bring pop-up tents, or any other similar large items that may obstruct the view of others.

You may bring a picnic and alcoholic beverages are permitted. Food and drink (including wine, beer, and mixed drinks) will also be available for purchase.

Agan this year, organizers are excited to announce the addition of the Hot Air Balloons. Concert goers can purchase five minute rides on tethered hot air balloons for $15 per person. Each trip can take up to four riders. Balloons will be operating from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Balloons are being sponsored by Flow Cadillac of Winston-Salem.

The opening act for the Symphony will be The Harris Brothers, a very popular local band with a flair for all music genres. Their eclectic repertoire includes songs you know the words to and will help reinforce or theme of our event this year, "Celebrate Americana".  Be sure to arrive early to enjoy this local favorite. 

The Symphony of the Mountains will be performing selections with a brief intermission. Click to the "Music" tab on the main Symphony page to see the program. As always, a spectacular fireworks display follows the show.
