The atmosphere at a Saddlebred show is electric, with spectators shouting encouragement and rooting for their favorites from the stands. Come see the excitement! The Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show is one of the oldest horse show events in the country and has been a Blowing Rock tradition since 1923.

Pat Collins, the current president of the Blowing Rock Garden Club, will lead an interactive discussion on how to grow, harvest and store herbs as well as how to use herbs in cooking and baking. The Blowing Rock Garden Club is pleased to announce that we will host our 3rd Mile of Flowers Tour and Symposium (please note that the event will be on Friday this year). Rain or shine!

Susan Sweet is a past president of the Blowing Rock Garden Club, and an avid gardener with a love of shade plants. She will discuss the lush varieties of hostas found in many local gardens, as well as care and feeding. After a brunch at Chetola, enjoy a tour of Susan's woodland garden. Space is limited.
