September 22 - September 28 2007 For the first week of Autumn, the higher elevations above 4000 ft are seeing the most color, though it is still a little thin. In slightly lower elevations, like the Town of Blowing Rock, the occasional tree is bursting into hues of coral and yellow. The real color show is yet to come.
