Foliage in the area is getting more vibrant every day as we get closer to peak color. Forecasters are predicting peak conditions at higher elevations this weekend. Right now, the drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway between Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain is among the most colorful tours of the area.
